Lacto Vegetarian Restaurants
Vidyadhiraja International is aiming to open lacto vegetarian restaurants all over the country, through its root level units namely Chapters, to provide traditional, hygienic foods and drinks to customers in nominal rates. A member or a group of members of one chapter can open a lacto vegetarian restaurant anywhere in the country under their management and capital, maintaining the similarity and uniformity everywhere.
A lacto-vegetarian diet is a diet that abstains from the consumption of meat as well as eggs, while still consuming dairy products such milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, ghee and cream. Lacto-vegetarian diets are popular with the followers of certain Eastern religious traditions such as Jainism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism and the core of this belief behind a lacto-vegetarian diet is the law of Ahimsa, or nonviolence.
According to the visions of Shri Vidyadhiraja Chattampi Swami Thiruvadikal, all living beings are equally valued and Vidhyadhiraja International is organized in such way, to follow the visions of Swamiji and to conduct social activities accordingly to propagate his principles all over the world.
